combi awning help

recently bought aeurovent combi porch awning when i thread it up the rail the front end is up in the air does the front end need to be cut (the awning piping) or do i need to open up the awning rail at the top of the caravan

On our old Isabella awning we had to cut the piping to get the fabric to drop at 90 degrees to the rail.
