my daughter lives in a rented property with no telephone line or sky. not a problem as she has a mobile phone and access to the internet via a dongle on her laptop. She wants a wireless printer for printing off her university assignments.

Question: As she does not have wireless via a router, will a wireless printer work?

Hello mel

Provided your daughters laptop has a wi-fi board or dongle, then the printer should come with the necessary software and instructions for her to set it up.

Alternatively if she takes the laptop to the shop where you are going to by the printer, they should be able to set it up for you.
