Hello Everyone
We are heading towards Spain for the winter and will be using heating in van during winter months anyone got advice to stop build up of condensation inside van any help appreciated
Hello Dugiandcarol,
Condensation is the result of warm moist air coming into contact with a cooler surface.
Whenever we breath out, or use the gas cooker we add warm moist air to the caravan, so its almost inevitable that condensation will occur in cooler weather conditions.
The use of a dehumidifier is going to use power, and because the caravan has some fixed ventilation, all it will do is to dry and dry out the surrounding countryside! The same applies to crystals or salt.
The best way to prevent condensation is to keep the caravan well ventilated.
