Conversion Lead 2 x 7pin to 13pin Help

I cannot separate the conversion lead from my Caravans lead, does it simply pull apart? Before I use too much force I would like some help here!

The caravan is new and when I picked it up in December the dealer fitted the converter as my car has the double sockets, as I am now getting it ready for use I tried to separate it and could see some water coming out of the connection so need to separate it and dry it before using.

You need to twist it. The 13pin connection uses a bayonet style connection a bit like a standard light bulb. It's more secure than the 12N and 12S which is one of its advantages.

You have to turn it about 1/4 of a turn anti clockwise I believe. I have the new 13 pin socket on my new car, and have therefore had to convert to twin socket on my older caravan.
