Convert 3 litre manual to automatic?

I am considering buying a 3 litre High top van. Automatics seem to be in short supply, is it possible (and affordable) to convert a manual given that the Fiat model uses a "semi automatic gearbox"?

Any suggestions of companies and any experience of using them would be much appreciated.

Hi JR & welcome to the forum. I can't offer any advise as to feasibility but I would be wary of causing problems with the vehicle warranty if any problems occur subsequent to any retrofit. (The ECU may create the biggest obstacle. It would be worthwhile looking at the Fiat Ducato website to see if there is anything on there. Alternatively a word with a Fiat Professional Dealership may be useful. Or even an e-mail to the Fiat UK website technical guys. Good luck with your quest.
