"Convertaflap"

I've just fitted a "Convertaflap" to the chest of my van. It certainly makes it more convenient to use the top and removes the need to clear away before opening a drawer. My only criticism is the actual design of the side brackets which could be more presentable especially the front exposed edge. I might have a go at making my own from hardwood moulding; will see what profiles are available. The price of course reflects the idea rather than the substance. I am reasonably pleased with it though.

A flip-over table has two good front edges when 'closed'. How come you need an extra moulding? Surely you stack the two parts of the table with both front edges showing?

I wasn't on about the front edges of the flaps! I meant the front ends of the supplied brackets.
