Converting TV to digital

I have a TV in the caravan that is not digital and does not have a SCART socket.

On page 540 of the Tesco Direct-Autumn/Winter 2008 edition catalogue (bottom right of page) there is a Tvonics micro digital TV receiver advertised at £39.96.

My question is :- has anyone bought one of these and do they work. By the way, I do have a multi-vaned aerial.

James , I cant speak for the Tvonics at Tesco but I do have 2 of the technika brand form Tesco s here at home and I have to say they are brilliant.

I know money nowadays is the big question ,but I would say if you can push the other bit you wont be sorry.

Has your TV set got any other input other than the RF [coax] socket?

Some as an alternative to Scart use four, three or two "phono" sockets or sometimes a little round multi-pin "S" socket.

If you have these then give us the details of what you have as there may well be a simple solution via special cable.
