Hi

Just been away in our new caravan for the weekend. One of the front corner steadies is a bit stiff when winding up/ down. Hubby thinks it needs some grease on it. What have others used, done. Thanks in advance for your help. Annette
 
Hi Annette - if the van is brand new or second hand bought from a dealer the steadies should have been lubricated prior to collection. "Stiffness" is a common problem on new vans and should ease with use. Otherwise I would go back to dealer and/or mention it at next service.

If you look at the steady runners you should see grease on the screw threads. If not apply a liberal ammount of automotive grease (halfords general purpose grease is ok).
