Corner steady extensions

I have seen these on Ebay and wondered if they are really a 'must have' piece of kit.
I seem to remember them being sold at shows in the past but they seem to have disappeared of late.
Anyone got any thoughts on them?

Can you please post a link?

I'd be really worried about the effect on the attachment of the steady to the underneath of the caravan. By effectively extending the 'lever', you'd be increasing the forces where the steadies connect to the floor/chassis.
I use stakapads instead. http://www.bridgendcamping.co.uk/default.aspx?CategoryID=55&ItemID=PYRSPADS

Thanks for the replys.
Will deBeast...I'm not sure I follow your laws of Physics. Surely by extending the lever arm would need less force on the leg's winding mechanism to "steady" the caravan.
