We are en route, currently in Honiton - Sidmouth area. By sheer luck we ended up with the biggest pitch on the site. People just over the road from us have to guide each other in to park theirs is that tight. It’s an unfair old world.

Yours looks a very good size, very French with the boundary hedges. Enjoy it.

Nice set up John.👍

Can I ask if that canopy you have on your caravan is the type that I sometimes see on the side of vans in a bag?

Also, would that be the type that you can also add the two sides and front to make it into a porch awning?.
Many thanks,Ade

Yes, it’s a Fiamma. I believe that later ones have a zip on each end to facilitate end panels, but they can be fitted to mine as well. I justhave the one end.

I do struggle to put it away nowadays and we are considering upgrading to a wind out Dometic wind out bonded to the roof next spring if we decide to continue caravanning.

Thank you John.
Will have to do some homework I think.
Looks like it maybe ideal for us.
I'm wondering if they may be as stable as say a normal porch awning once erected.
Looks good though👍

They can stand more wind than you may at first think. But one big advantage of the wind in type is they are far more easy to roll in if bad weather is due.

Strict Covid-19 rules are still in force at Trevalgan. Full masks compulsory in all buildings, waste disposal etc. Sadly no visitors allowed on site. Sadly Sister who has a holiday let up the road can’t join us😥 Will the C19 restrictions ever relax 🤔🤔🤔

Sorry to hear that, but surely these are site imposed, so could vary site to site. The HMG regulations have pretty well been rolled back in England……..at present. But it is confusing everywhere, as we go into shops with signs saying please wear masks, and the staff out in the shop may or may not be wearing masks. Customers do their own thing.

We just realised that my daughter and family will be at Mullion. We will either see them at their cottage or arrange a place.

We've enjoyed Sunday lunch many times in the Balnoon DD.
Did you try The Watermill at the other end of the Old Coach Road?

Sounds good, todays local lunch, was great,, near to Ivinghoe Beacon, ( The Rose and Crown). There is a little private site, Town Farm. Not far away. Sat in the garden.
I hope the weather is good for the Mini, Woosie fest, next weekend.
