cots, can any one help???

I have a 5 berth caravan and two small children 3 years and 1 year old. My 3 year old is happy sleeping on the bunk, and last year was fine as my baby was still only small so i used a bed guard along the side of the back seat to create a small bed for him. But now he is on the move loves to climb i need a stonger side and higher too. I have tried a travel cot but it is too big for the gap between the seats. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make a cot. Please help we are due to go away in two weeks
