Superb site so I'm sure you will have a wonderful time. Only 5 mins walk into Moreton which has good pubs and hotels so don't worry about poor reception or Turkeys that just that bit to big for the oven!

Another pub well worth a visit is the Horse & Groom about 5 mins by car (turn right at main gate then on the hill - next village)excellent food and good beer........ what more can you ask!!!. Have a great Christmas.

Hi Jon

We went to M-in-M last Christmas. It was terrific so we are going again so C U there. Can't comment on TV reception cos we don't even watch TV at home. As for the Turkey, we much prefer a nut roast and will have no problem producing a delicious festive meal in our caravan oven. The menu has been planned for as long as the site has been book...(round about 2nd Jan). We're going next Tues 23rd and we can't wait. We've contacted the Bell ringers at Moreton-in-Marsh and arranged to join them to ring for the midnight service on Christmas eve. On Christmas morning we are hoping to join the bellringers in Childswickham. Only 8 more getups...

hi Jon

We are the two oldies (50 plus) with the Honda CRV and Bailey Senator Virginia. Leaving the grandaughters at home this trip as just finished the family Christmas at our house. Looking forward to a peaceful Christmas, some walking, meeting up with friends (from Childswickham and some visiting Gloucester area) and some bell ringing in Church towers we haven't been to before. Hope to say hello to you in M-in-M as you will be the first from this forum that we have met in person.

Denise
