Do you have inside knowledge of these plans to escalate ten-fold - or is it just Musk-type misinformation?Reasonable charges for a tourist tax are not an issue, but in rip off Britain it starts at £1, then the following year £2 and eventually probably will be £10 a night and then they wondered why tourism is dying and business closing up.
Tourism keeps a lot of businesses afloat and makes the economy turn around for all. Remove tourism and you have a problem and taxes increase for locals.
