Court Case

Can I sue Practical Caravan for misrepresentation? Under the banner on this web site it reads "All you need for a perfect holiday". Having taken them at their word we had a disaster in Devon because of the weather, etc. Therefore they have lead me astray and I wasted a lot of time and money on false information. I am sure some one on this forum must have a knowledge of the law relating to this, therefore your observations on this matter would be very much appreciated.

Colin me old sunshine, yet again you are worrying about a storm in a teacup, you could sue but getting through the legal arguments will be like knitting fog and i drought weather you will win but it is worth a go or is this just a wind up!

Surely as an accident is an event which is not planned but something which happens unexpectedly all accidents could be classed as an act of God? Before I progress further with this should I be consulting my local vicar as I am a member of the Church in Wales?

First you will have to confess all your sins.

My dear girl I will have you know that I am but a pure and humble law abuding individual who shows the greatest respect for all. My only sin is being mixed up with a bunch of reprobates on this forum.

Not forgetting if you go to court you will have to:- Tell the Truth, The Whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth, So help me god. Now tell the Truth Colin.

Liz without blowing my own trumpet and appearing smug and big headed (for which I am not hehehehe) I have been to court on several occassions. Initially for my own stupidity on a motoring offence in 1973, secondly as a witness to a motor accident and on two seperate fortnight occassions as a member of a jury in Cardiff Crown court, even once acting as jury foreman. I have also been asked on three seperate occassions if I would consider becoming a JP in the local magistrate court. Therefore I would have no bother in having to tell the truth as it would come natural to me.

I cannot for the life of me see how any person can have a diverse opinion of me as my hallo is shining and my concience is pure and chaste like the driven snow.

Talking of snow - A chap complained to his neighbour that his son's name was written in u***e in the snow in his front garden. The father trying to brush it off said that it was nothing serious and that he remembers doing it when he was young. The first man replied that he did not mind the name being there but he did object to it being in his daughter's handwriting.

Well Colin I have heard your defence, but as I would and have been on the other side of the bench, I find you guilty, please do not try to grovel, it will not work, perhaps with a little community service, you may get your halo back, but for the time being it has fallen.Liz

colin, do you not think that the weather forecast that predicted that it was going to p*ss down could be used in evidence against you.
