the upper corner of my large front window has cracked approx 1/2 an inch from the edge for approx 1 inch. This on the single glazed part. It does not affect the double glazing or the rubber window seal. Has anyone any sujestions as to an adhesive that would seal the crack. I think most superglue's do not work on plastic. thanks martin

You could use Araldite, it is one of the best 2 part epoxy glues on the market, even after many years of being around.

You need to drill a small stop hole at the ends of the crack to stop it going any further.

Plastic glue as used by modelmakers should 'weld' the plastic back together for you.

Try Humbrols or Revels from model shops

Some caravan windows are made from polycarbonate, others are acrylic glass. Not all plastic glues are suitable both types. Polycarbonate adhesives are typically on a methylene chloride or ethylene dichloride base. Acetone, on the other hand, works well with acrylic glass but causes polycarbonate to craze. So, it's best to check with the dealer or manufacturer first.
