Hi ,
Yes I would like to say hello!
Having just discovered Practical Motorhomes magazine to which I must say from a reading content is superb general information, road tests and that you appear to be as enthusiastic about "panel van" conversions as well as Chassis Cab conversions.
Here goes, We would like a Motorhome based on either a Mercedes Benz Sprinter or a VW Crafter , LWB / Hi Roof. From reading the magazine it would appear that the Fiat / Peugeot / Citroen vans have the lions share of the converters ears.
Old habbits die hard when you have run Mercedes cars for a number of years , so our hearts are set on the Sprinter. Looking at the Sprinter , excluding the mechanics at this stage , we feel that the Long Wheelbase , Hi roof model is the one for us size wise.
Our requirements are for a luxury 2 berth ( alway's just the driver plus one passenger at any one time) so no need for complicated additional passenger belted seating.
We are struggling to find any converters in this sector. So please could somebody help me as to who to make contact with please.

Hi David = a few Sprinter models available but Crafter does not appear to be very popular as a base vehicle for converters.

The following Company did build on the Mercedes, but none currently shown in their range

Close to me a guy has a VW Crafter (LWB PVC) with the name Voyager shown. but I haven't had the opportunity to chat with him There is also another in town, so I guess they are commercial convertions.
