Having just returned from a trip to Iceland - without caravan - we took great interest in the makes of caravan to be seen there and needless to say they were all German with 1 Adria. The roads of Iceland can be quite challenging with volcanic activity, water(lots of) and ice. Many roads are not even surfaced they just grade them every so often. None of these caravans displayed any type of creased walls. If creasing of British caravan walls is a common problem and it is attributed to rough roads then these caravans are not fit for purpose as by definition they should be suitable to be towed on the public highway. if they are not suitable then this should be made known at purchase. The reverse of the promotional leaflet from Explorer readsHi,
we too have recent creasing on our caravan - 2007 model Coachman, but we wouldn't say that it has had anything other than normal use including potholes (unavoidable and frequent on British roads-unfortunately - and the dreaded speed bumps - but our caravans should be robust enough to cope with these?)
