Cried Today!!

No more outings for us this year....used up all my holiday entitlement πŸ™
So Had to put Mr Fleety to bed, drained down both water and loo, fixed a squeak from the gas fire (no I didnt touch the gas!!) bedding indoors in vacuum bags, hoovered washed and polished (inside only).

BUT I still have the awning rail to reseal so he wont be alone for too long.
Oh...... and then I will treat him to a wash and polish outside.

There, there Kev only five and a half months until the new Leave Year starts.

Never mind Kev
What's wrong with a Friday / Saturday night within an hours drive of hone? We did many a weekend when we worked.

Btw Leave the locker cupboard doors open .It avoids condensation on the inside forming mildew. .

Perhaps it is time to go for a winter seasonal pitch. Jump in the car after work on Friday, home after tea on Sunday.

I intend to do a goodly number of those, it gives the kids lots of extra little holidays to look forward to and keeps the accommodation in use throughout the year.

We have still a bit to do, here for a start - http://www.secc-online.org.uk/show_rally_details.php?rn=571,
To see this - http://www.thursford.com/christmas-spectacular.aspx.
Shall fit other bits in as feet get too 'itchy' if not in the van, even in winter.

We are now scheduled to put the van in storage tomorrow, but going via caravan dealer to assess cracks. Might be a case of adding a bit of duck tape for a couple of months. Have completed the waxing job on the van and it looked so nice that I waxed the car today as well.

You Woosie Sir WC. I thought you had done a px.
Meant to ask if your panels are ABS or GRP?

Not really an option Sir Dusty, OH now works every other weekend and I have to work every Saturday :
(Perhaps my own fault for securing that large contract I told you about..ongoing for the next 14 weeks..7days a week!! but I get Sundays off)

Always leave locker, wardrobe and shower door open, oh and the fridge.

Van now back in storage after going via a Lunar dealer.

The rear of the van is GRP and it appears there is a large void (at least 2 inches x 2 inches) between the gel coat and the fibre matting. Being an outside corner (when finished) it seems to be a manufacturing fault where the gel coat was pressed fully into the mould but the subsequent matting was not pushed fully home into the corner to bond to the gel coat. The dealer said the fault was repairable.

The front of the van is plastic and it seems the gas strut fixing bolt has rusted causing it to get thicker and tried to enlarged its hole and therefore caused the split. The other option is that it was loose and moved around causing the split. The dealer had no repair solution for the crack.

The dealer has photographed both incidents in order to claim repairs under warranty. We await the outcome.

Never mind Kev.
All that ot will help pay for the next Woosie Fest.
Sir WC.
Let's hope Lunar come up with a satisfactory resolution. ABS panels can be repaired by specialists with plastic welding techniques.
