croatia- venice

Please can anyone give me a rough idea how much it will cost, and how long it will take, to catch a ferry from Fazana in Croatia to Venice. Or would i be better off diverting and staying near Venice for a while.

To my knowledge there is no direct ferry connection between Venice and Fazana. The closest port in Croatia served by ferry from Venice is Pula and that is only a catamaran passenger ferry (see www.venezialines.com)

Thanks Lutz, i was thinking of a day trip as a foot pasenger, but have no idea how far it is. or how long a trip. or for that matter the cost. I could travel to the nearest port.

Venice-Pula takes about 3 hours and costs 72€ return on a day ticket as a foot passenger.
