I'm sure we have all seen those absolutley appalling bright coloured rubber sandle shoe type clog things that everybody is wearing at the moment.

I personally, would divorce the wife and dissown the kids if they wore a pair. Although it seems they all want some!

I will admit they do look handy for walking to and from the showers in the morning - but I still wouldnt have apair out of principal!!!

Me - I Hate Em!!!

Why would you care enough about what other people wear on their feet to waste your time posting a comment on this forum????

Hey BML, Waste my time posting on the forum - you wasted your time replying!!

From the tone of your mail, I bet you've got a pair - Probably in bright pink!!!!

The forum is for all things caravanning - The heading of 'General' is for letting off steam about caravanning issues etc. I have been on a Caravan Club site this weekend and i'll bet 30 % of people were wearing them! - Obviously a very popular caravan accessory at the moment. So why I dont understand why you feel it is so wrong to discuss the Pro's and Con's of Crocs.

We used to love crocs as we used to make good money killing them when they started eating the local villagers. Also great skins for mounting over your bar!

I love mine,I bought them at the NEC Caravan show earlier in the year as my feet were killing me as I worn high heels!

They are a nice pastel blue colour so not too in your face and are soo comfy I don't care how they look.

Very practical, you can throw them in the washing machine when they get grubby.

They seem to stop smelly feet too, as least my OH's don't whiff after he has been wearing his pair.

My children have the sketchers versions as they come in very small sizes suitable for toddlers and as they are a bit trendy currently all the children want some.

I would recommend them.

Litespeed!

Actually I don't have a pair but I will have to look into getting a pair especially as they seem to cause so much irritation to you, and by the way what would be wrong with a bright pink pair I don't get what you are getting at there?

I can remember wearing these things about 25 years ago in Yugoslavia to protect my feet from sea urchins. That's probably about the only reason I'd wear them now.

Admit it Litespeed, you desperately want a pair :)

I learnt today that you can personalise your Crocs with 'Jibbitz'!!! They are small logos, flowers, badges etc actually almost anything or everything you want.

I still wont admit that i'm warming to the idea of a pair - there ridiculous....... although the navy ones look handy for walking to the showers on a wet morning......by the way can anybody tell me what size 10 is in euro sizes????!!!!

Way back in the 1970s I stopped my daughter from having plastic shoes when she was a child as I reckoned they would be bad for the feet. I insisted she wore either Clarks or Startright. shoes as her feet were developing. I try to do the same now for the grandchildren and now plastic shoes are all the rage - what is happening to society? Bring back Clarks and Startright and comfort to the feet. As stated previously high heels are only a fashion symbol and must be bad for the feet. Why is it that as ladies get older the height of the hell gets less? Lack of oxygen at a height, can't take the wine and remain steady on the feet, or some other reason? Probably as they mature they realise the damage they are doing to their feet and try to rectify it before it becomes too late.

hubby and I both have a pair. pink for me and navy blue for him. Very comfortable and feel you could walk for miles in them. Machine washable and ideal for chucking on whilst on site.

"What the hell are CROCS apart from the obvious"?

Like you colin, I had no idea, I had too google crocs to find out what they look like.

The question is, would I wear them, my sweeties?

I'm not too sure on that one, I could walk with my hand on my hip while having my shower bag hanging from my limp wrist but these days I can't get the ass wiggle right, so the answer is no.

I must add the yellow ones would look rather becoming on me though :O)

..... if I can add that yellow is out, I would have to get a pair that matched my pink thong.
