crow bar for peg removal

After years and years of tenting, it finally dawned on me that getting rock pegs out of hard ground would be so much easier if used a crow bar to pull them...

It's a good job that I'm an engineer isn't it. LOL

Ah you must be an electrical engineer!! By having a claw hammer you can not only remove rock pegs, but also hammer them in. Trying that with a crow bar will result in bruised, or deformed fingers!!

2 lb lump hammer for instalation, and a claw hammer for extraction, a mate of mine had a puller made up the was really just a longer version of the claw hammer with a rolling action. Sorry can't really explain.

I have a hard rubber mallet for knocking them in, not sure where I got it from but I've had it for years and used it to peg down my numerous tents and now awnings; it might be rubber but it does the job, nice and heavy.
