Crystal 2 water pump

Hi everyone I have a Bailey Ranger 5 which has a Truma Crystal 2 submersible pump. It attaches to the van and is kept in place by 2 clips. I have broken 1 off (bottom 1). How can I fix it. I believe that it has been updated, although I have found replacement clips ?
TIA Nigel

Welcome along.

The "clips" have a cylindrical swivel base which just pushes into the holes on either side. If you can grip the stump with some pliers or something, they should come out with a bit of a pull and a wiggle.
Alternatively, you may be able to screw in a self-tapper a few turns to aid in extraction.

A bit of silicon grease on the new ones wouldn't go amiss.
Good luck! 🙂

If you enter into ebay 'truma crystal clips' possible replacements appear as the first listing. As for getting the 'stub' of the old one out, hopefully you can get a hold of the tail end with fine nose pliers, otherwise is there room to drill a fine hole into the centre, aruldite a wire into the hole then use this to pull out the stub?

If the clips are like these: https://www.caravantech-shop.co.uk/products/spares-water--gas-electric-etc/truma-crystal-inlet-spares/truma-crystal-2-sercurity-clip-pair#.XShP6PZFyUk

Just use a small screwdriver and push the broken bits out of the back of the fitting, the new ones just push in.
