Crystal Filter Housing

I have to change my filter housing. Can anyone tell me how to release the rigid pipe connector that connects to the non-return valve of a Truma Crystal Housing.

You have to push the inner collar towards the fitting or away from the crystal housing while holding the pipe fitting with the other hand so that the joint is compressed slightly.

If its stiff put a pair of pliers loosely round the stub on the housing to push sideways and away from the housing

On the end of the fitting there is a collar that slides back inside when you push the fitting further on, hold the collar in this position and pull back, the whole fitting will now slide off.
