Just discovered that I have some long lost relations living near the CC site.
Looking on the CC site it flagged up about being in the London Low Emission Zone, not having been involved with driving within London, would like advise please.
What are the daily costs , and would my Vectra Diesel Estate 2.2 be penalised.

Are you getting confused between the LEZ and the Congestion Charge? For info on the LEZ have a look here http://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/lez/default.aspx I don't think your car will be a problem.

Ring the site itself for advice regarding both L.E.Z. and congestion charges. Some years ago I was told that if you follow the directions given in the C.C. hand book you avoid both though I do not know if this is still the case.

Many thanks for your promp reply, in explaining the difference, must confess having never having driven into London , since the various restrictions have been inforce, Looking up the web page you indicated has clearly indicated what types of vehicles are involved.
I have also downloaded a map of the area where the congestion charges are applicable, the route I will be taking steers well clear of that area.

Hi Royston, It only applies to vehicles over a certain weight, your car is exempt.
