Hi Jim

How long have the mould dots been present? The longer the worse.

Whatever you try do wear protective gloves as some of the chemicals are injurious to your health and skin.

I have used Stain Devil No 7 before some years ago with limited success.

Spirit of vinegar can also help as can a solution of sodium percarbonate.

Another suggestion is Carbona Stain Devil No 4 mixed with 1 cup of bleach, 2oz of Dawn dishwashing liquid and 1 gallon of water.

Also free of charge you can e-mail: "Helen-why@acdo.co.uk"

tell her your problem and she may have a suggestion.

Whatever you do, try it first on a hidden spot just in case it messes up the whole fabric.

If you do find a good cure let us all know.
