cycle storage

Hello Everyone
am planning long term touring trip and looking into options for cycle storage
will be carrying 2 adult hybrid bike and have been looking at cycle rack that fits on floor of caravan,has anyone bought these any feedback or other suggestions as where to carry bikes would be gratefully accepted

Because many of my caravan journeys are spread over several days I've always avoided carrying our bikes in the caravan. It's nice to have the van uncluttered even for short comfort stops. These days I confine myself to carrying a foldup bike which packs into the back of my estate car, but when we both toured I had a Towsure bike rack permanently fitted behind the tow ball into which the arms of the rack fitted. The rack easily carried our two bikes, the only drawback being that once the bikes were loaded, there was no access through the rear estate door.

how did you find towing with the rack on the other option i have is to take front wheels off and put them inside my xc90 any thoughts kevin

No trouble at all. Only when reversing at a sharp angle did the bikes come close to the jockey wheel handle.

Have you thought about a roof mounted unit on the car?

Have a roof box mounted am also considering security and weather as we will be travelling for about 12 months thankyou
