damaged awning rail

I have a coachman laser,i have just managed to damage the rear lower section of the awning rail on by drive gate. The rail

appears to be in 1 piece, can you gat a section from somewere

and just replace the damaged piece.Any help would be welcome.

I've managed to do something similar. Dealer inspected the damage, and has suggested two possible fixes. (My rail is made up of two lengths with the join just about half way along the roof). First option is to replace the complete rear half section, or, alternatively, cut the damaged rail at about six feet above the ground, just above "eye-level", and only replace that part. My 'vans quite new, so I've opted for the first option, but wont be getting it done until after the hols.

You will need to go to a Coachman dealer

I did the same thing a few years ago and was able to purchase a short length of the rail and replace the damaged part

It all depends on the dealer and if they have any available

Awning rail now comes preshaped but you may get a piece that has been removed

There I was thinking I was the only one to have done this!! Lol

Eddie, how much did the dealer quote for the supply and fit of the replacement rail??

Thanks

Guilty as charged! Also a Coachman Laser - n/s/r corner bottom 3".

It also damaged the bottom corner of the rear panel, about 2" by 1".

The dealer gave me a written estimate for the insurance company:
