Damp Floor Panel

I am looking at buying an Abbey 416 GTS 1994 caravan but have noticed a small area (4" x 4") of suspect wood in the corner of the wooden sole of the van under the shower compartment. Is this an easy repair for a fairly competent DIYer or should I use a registered repairer for it. If so, any idea on likely cost?

Alternatively, should I look elsewhere for a van?

If still wet/damp - I would walk away.

If stained but dry consider it BUT offer considerably less.

Hopefuly just a leaking shower tray - but who knows?

Looked elsewhere now & found an Elldis Thyphoon GTX, newer, cleaner, same money. Buying it.
