Damp meters

Instead of doing reviews on dishdrainers and screwdrivers, why don't PC do a review on something that would be of use to the caravanning fraternity like damp meters specifically aligned towards caravans and not buildings, i.e with maximum cost of £100? You could check for damp on a regular basis and perhaps catch it in the early stages instead of waiting for the next service.

Now that sounds like a good idea Damp meters .You could also follw it up with a feature on the correct way to check for damp in caravans . I think i will e mail Out and About and see if they beat Practical caravan to this one .

damp meters are only as good as the person thats using them and the professional money that needs to be spent on them for a more accurate result???

Hi ive just seen a moisture meter for sale in Aldi it cost

Let us know whether it's calibrated in % moisture or just uses leds and designed for brickwork. The former is suitable for caravans, the latter isn't much use.
