What Watson says is correct but how old is your van? We have a 06 Senator Indiana and had this problem, especially in winter. We contacted Bailey and they arranged for the dealer to fit the boards. Solved!

Sorry guys I forgot I had posted this. thanks for your answers. Its an 05 senator. Its not the backrest cushions its the base cusions when the beds are made up that is the problem. The cushions at the chest end are very tight and im not sure if there is room to squeeze anything between them and the wall. thanks again.

We had condensation boards on our '83 Ace but they're not fitted on our '01 Pageant, which has reduced fixed ventilation under EN1645 than older caravans - neither has suffered from this type of moisture.

All our "ventilation" is shut all day in winter although fixed ventilation is still working. We do make a point of using the Omnivent fan whenever the hob, oven or microwave are in use.

We also have no need to use dehumidifiers during storage, unlike some caravanners.

I can't explain why some suffer with moisture and others don't.

Colin, You could try a sheet of corrugated card board slid in between cupboard/wall to help combating the condesation. I used to use it in a van some years ago when the table top was used to fill-in between the front bunks, there was always condensation on the bottom of the cushions in the mornings & had to be stood out to dry, but the corrugated cardboard sorted it out!
