Darlington area

Hi Folks.

We need another site recommendation. Tim is doing a 600km (in 40hrs) cycle ride from Aldbrough St. John SW of Darlington so we could do with another site rcommendation. We prefer CL/CS sites with Hook-Up and are members of both clubs but location is perhaps more impotant than site type on this occasion. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Denise, You could try this site. From there it would be about 15 to 20 minutes into Darlington if you dont know the area that well. www.middridgemeadows.co.uk

This next one is about the same distance outside darlington but is easier to get to http://www.touristnetuk.com/ne/winston/

Hi Denise try Newbus Grange its on the south side of Darlo near Croft racing track.

The nearest decent site is the CC site at Hargill House, Gilling West its just off the A66 and only a few miles directly south of A St. John.

If ever searching for sites I suggest you try the map search facility at www.ukcampsite.co.uk - it locates the club sites, commercial/private sites and CL's.
