Dart grill door fallen out

This one's to help my mate (honest!)....and to save me a trip to go to his storage area to have a look myself.

His 2000 Dart's grill glass door has fallen out and he hasn't a clue how it is held in place. It seems to slide into place, but there's nothing to hold it there. Can anyone who has a Dart have a peep and see if how this works, please.

More info.....

Have had a look at the door now....

The door is in two halves, split horizontally. The top half pulls down, to access the grill and the whole door then opens fully to access the oven. However, whatever holds the two halves together is missing, and the top half simply falls off when you try to open it.

There are two silver lugs which sit together to allow the door to hinge in half, but there must be something else missing.

It's a Stoves Newhome.

Hi Jeff,

We also had a 2000 Dart,(now sold), Your mate has done well for the door to last this long. Our's fell to bits on our first outing! The dealer replaced the door under warranty with the 0ne piece door. A lot better option although the oven door has to be open and the leg room is a bit tight.

I would recommend this option as our dealer said people were queuing up for repairs to the door.

Hope this helps

Must go off to sunny France Tomorrow!

Regards Nidge
