Dartford Crossing tolls up

Just to let you know that the cost of the Dartford Crossing will rise to £1.50 for cars, and £3.00 for car and caravan, as from the end of November. If you're like us, and get your pound coins out, you'll need an extra one!

Forget that - caravans are apparently now free - so we'll save 50p per crossing which means a whole

I live in Thurrock which is where the Essex side of the crossing is. Our local MP and the Dartford MP, pushed through parliament a petition from local people for a discount toll rate. What we applied for and now have is a Local Resident Dart Tag which allows us to go through at 20p each way including caravan.
