I for one am very sad to see the forum go. yes the banter wasn't as restricted as other forums. It was more like a chatroom.

I would like to thank Gary for all the work he put into the running and the personal cost he put into it and never asked for anythin back.

It just goes to show that no matter what anyone does theres always someone that will try and tear you down.

To all those people

PLEASE GROW UP AND GET A LIFE.

Cheers Gary the forum will be missed

Will

ps Thanks to Lord B and Plotter for the very informative threads on there.

I am disappointed to see the demise of the Carry on Camping web-site.

As someone that had only come across the site very recently and also not one for chat room environment I was not aware of the issues taking place amongst some of the regulars.

As there were many threads that were not the same as on this forum it is a pity that a slightly different approach has died.

Glad to hear that.

Now then, I've been in touch with the BBC and they are very interested in the Carry on Camping Saga. From what I have told them, they are keen to make a one off hour long comedy. They've asked my opinion on actors/actresses for various parts.

I have suggested Peter Bowles for LB and Sir Anthony Hopkins to play the part of emmerson, (although keep that bit to yourself as they wern't sure they could get old Tony).

Do you have a person in mind to play your part?

emmerson, no you can't. I'm more of an Anne Robinson.

Edds, I think Rigsby (if he were still alive) would be an excellent choice for your character.
