.Dawlish Warren

Hi all

We are thinking of going to Ladys Mile camp site for our holidays has anybody got any comments good or bad about this site or can they recommend any other sites in the area. We have 2 kids 7 and 10 years old and one dog. Walking distance to the beach would be an advantage or close to good transport bus or train.

Many thanks and a Happy New Year to you all

Dave

dawlish warren is a lovely place, mind you, the beaches in devon are not as good as cornwall.star cross(next to the warren) is where you can catch a train if you wish.lady's mile is a short walking distance from dawlish and the beach.have been to cofton park and another one which i can't remember the name of right now(its closed to tents and tourers now anyway from this year)so it doesn't matter.coften is a lovely site, but does get far to crowded peak times as do most of the popular sites in that area.have heard lady,s mile is a good site

i have stayed on all the sites in the dawlish area and would say without doubt that peppermint park is the one to go to across the road to the beach, and shops and the site staff are brill, john.

Stayed at peppermint park last year and its a graet site, has everything you need and the grounds keeper is extreemly freindly, this site is the closest to this beach and isnt up/down hill, but its quite expensiv, ladys mile is further afield and is up quite a steep hill
