I have always thought that all men are equal no matter what creed, colour or religion. However I do think, and I am sure there are many with the same views, that any person coming to settle in this country should live by our laws and also support themselves and not scrounge from society. If they cannot find work or break a serious criminal offence they should then be deported back to the country they came from. I am also of the opinion that should someone wish to return home and cannot afford it they should be given a one way ticket with the proviso that they do not return - voluntary repatriation.

I was also under the opinion that if someone flees their country because of troubles they should settle in the first safe country they come to and not travel the length & breadth of Europe to reach the UK for a free ticket to all and sundry.

I'm afraid you've falled at the first hurdle:

'I have always thought that all MEN are equal no matter what creed, colour or religion'.

It would have been better written with the word'PEOPLE' inserted rather than 'MEN'.

Lisa I will agree with you that I am not PC by stating "All men are ...." but I was only quoting a very old saying which is still being quoted in the society for which I am a member. Admittedly it is a male orientated club.

Liz as far as work is concerned there is plenty here for you especially if you were to travel to west Wales and take up a similar position on a caravan site. Regarding sending money home to your family the invite to live iin Wales was extended to your family therefore there should be no need to send money home as they will be with you in sunny Wales.

Thankyou Colin, hubby is fast asleep, I will tell him in the morning, bless his little cotton socks, we have had a busy day today, clearing out garage, a few trips down the rubbish tip, cleaning outside utility room, cleaning work shed.

I was not allowed to tow the trailer though, hubby said best to leave it to him, cheek of it!!!

So you are away this coming week-end hope the weather is good for you all, especially if you have grandchildren with you, we are going to somerset on Thursday all being well.

So hence you will all get some peace from me no wifi.

Liz

Nautilus your post here and in the other thread are an outrage.

As a married couple James I have spent much of our merried life as Ex Pats. The UK government has gone out of its way to impress on James and his family and colleagues that we are guests in other countries and we should act with respect for the local religion, culture and way of life and not to take jobs from locals.

The same government does not insist on the same behaviour from migrants to our country.

You are just another with fancifull ideas using buzz words to cover the truth rather than look at the true effect of these groups on our economy and the effect they are having on indigenous people and their job and housing opportunities.

If you beleive many are Xenophobic then lets have the open truth on what many from the migrant groups are claiming and and how they afford the life styles they lead the cars they drive the trips home they take and the money they send to there home lands on UK basic wages.

Ria and James
Immigration officials who are prevented from doing there jobs correctly and details and records from commercial organisations showing that very many Johnny Foreigners are on huge fiddles and everyone from Doctors, NHS, Education and other official bodies being prevented from questioning suspicious acts by migrants or even reporting their fears so that these people are investigated are not on record.

Very many people in their business lives are faced with proof that a lot of immigrants are claiming a whole raft of benefits, own homes in other parts of the UK and build large homes and businesses in their home lands and also use lapse UK immigration to obtain benefits and health services for family that they bring in to visit.

The Xenophobia and Racist buzz words are used to prevent the facts being put on public record.

We are told that UK workers will not work for low pay yet very many migrants on low pay and benefits can fly themselves and their large families on extended holidays to their home lands and byuild homes and businesses there.

Do tell where these actions are recorded, and if you beleive those sort of actions to be minimal you know very little, unlike Immigration Staff and the travel industry workers and others that deal with these people directly.
