Dehumidifier VS tube heater

Hi there,

I use a dehumidifier from time to time over the winter to remove excess condensation. I get a small cupfull of water about every couple of months. Thus there is no heat in the caravan at all. Is this better than using a tube heater to keep the caravan damp free.
