Hi. I have posted here before and read some very helpful posts regarding a delaminted floor.

I am going to do this repair over the winter, but I have a question regarding the adhesive to use. There are two products on ebay; one is a two part mix, the other is a single bottle of green adhesive. Does anyone have any advice on which is the best to use.

Also, what diameter hole would you suggest? I am looking at going 6mm as I can get 6mm dowels quite cheap from Screwfix.

Brilliant. Thanks for that. I'll look up that chemical now. I tried a few caravan dealers but they didn't have the adhesive, which is why I ended up on ebay.

The problem with putting weights on the floor is that you may very well end up with a concave floor!!!

The sandwich construction of floors is first layer plywood, then polystyrene, topped by plywood.

Delamination happens when the polystyrene on the upper surface parts company with the top layer of plywood.

The recommended filler/adhesive fills the depression and bonds all the parts back together.

Leaving weights off the floor leaves the floor level, as it should be.

Ken, having repaired the floors in six vans so far, and four more booked to have it done, the system I have printed above works.

Supporting a delaminate dfloor underneath still leaves the top part, where the damage is, with a void between polysytrene and plywood, putting weight on the plywood WILL result in a permanent dip in the floor.
