Dent on font of caravan

Hi all, we have got a small dent on our brand new caravan, caused by a flying stone, any ideas as to getting rid of it?

Its not too big, but definitely noticeable, the panel is alluminium.

Thank you for any help.

Andrew,

That's unfortunate, but I think your best option will be to cover the "ding" with a badge or emblem.

We have an Eriba - aluminium panels over a tubular steel space-frame - and the bottom half of the front panel is covered with a stainless steel chip protector - but occasionally you get stone impacts above that or on the sides.

You very probably won't have access to the back of the panel, so you won't be able to rub the aluminium back into shape.

Filling with body filler and repainting is not a good idea on a new van - it just won't look right.

So fit a badge (tyre pressure data reminder is a good idea)
