Hi all, I have just noticed a small dent on my series 6 Pageant,

Something like the handlebars off a bike. Not that big or noticable but you know your eye is always drawn to it.It is in line with 2, other reflectors my question is should i leave it alone or cover it up with another reflector or is there any other way of dealing with this. Thanking you for any responces.

Sean.

If the reflector looks right in that place I would fit it. Make sure you do the other side of the van to match or the next buyer will think there is a dent under it!!

I assume we are talking about a plastic van side. I would ask a reputable repairer what options are open to you, apart from anew panel.

Ironically I was on a ladder looking at my van roof in the storage park and looking along the row revealed an awful lot of roofs with more dents, indentation and just plain wobbles than you could shake a stick at. Not very attractive but then again, who looks at roofs?

Sean sorry to read about your small dent , now Ihave to say you will probably better off learning to live with it as a small dent usually will look worse if you try a diy job.

Im sure sooner or later you will collect a small awning dent or two , but if as you say it is in line with another reflector put another on on.

, Im sure if you are like me you feel pig sick I know i did when we lost our awning a gale force wind and finished up with a dent or two but only seen from an angle .

Good Luck Sir Roger

I had some dents on the side of our van from the dreaded awning poles but too small to repair. I got some plastic transfers in the shape of colourful butterflies (the type that stick with just moisture not adhesive)which helped disguise them and our kids thought they looked quite fun as well. Try something similar or if it on the back what about a 'GB' or '60' mph sticker.
