dents on caravan

Hi,

My father inlaw has a dent on the side of his new bailey bordeux series 5.

Can this be fixed.

The dent is at the front side done by a milk mans crate..

Yes it can be repaired with a fill and spray. It is far easier to repair if it is the smooth part of the side panel not the ribbed part.

Hi ,

I would imagine it is similar to fibreglassing a dent in the car ... so if he has done that i am sure he can do the van .

Soory not fibreglassing but the putty stuff you use with the hardner ... oops!

Or the old trick, much mentioned on this forum - cover the dent with a suitable sized reflector and put a matching one on the other side.
