we booked a cl for april they warned us it was water logged at present and we may have to use the carpark (not much use as we have 3 dogs and use the awning for them to sleep .

they said we wouldnt get our deposit back £20 if we couldnt use the carpark but they would deduct it if we went another time

i am not sure that it ethical but we booked anyway its along way off is april
 
Still a good 4-6 weeks away and its amazing what a bit of dry weather can do - where in the country are you going? At least they were up front with you and explained how things were - they haven't let you down right at the last minute. And you have the opportunity to stay another time if things haven't changed.
