Derbyshire peak district

Hi all after watching ed edmonson over the last few weeks I loved the Derbyshire one. We sayed at grin low cc for a short break but it was snowing that was about 3-4 years ago so didn't really venture out. I now fancy going next year either to a nice site or nice CL with elec and loo. Does anyone recommend a site or CL and what villages, areas etc etc o you recommend.

Thanks before hand

Jo xx

It's a huge area Jo. Both Clubs have several sites in the area, and there aer countless commercial sites too. To us, Hope Valley is the heart of the Peak District (but we're biased as Kay's home village is Hathersage - where Little John is reputed to be buried in the church yard (there is a very long grave there)). The Caravan Club's Castleton site (was Lose Hill) is excellent, and only a short walk from the village (pubs, basic supplies, etc), BUT, like all Club sites is very busy.
Sadly there's a lack of CL's in Hope Valley, with only one really.
Not far away is Chatsworth House CC site too.
