Strange in this day and age not to take plastic. :( I also see from their website that you need to send a stamped addressed envelope in order to get a receipt if paying in advance. A very archaic financial setup.

Are you on the same page:
http://www.diamondpark.co.uk/payments.html

Lots of plastic options and PayPal which is the contemporary method of transactional payment in the ether of electronics / inter web etc. Possibly a shrewd move as no fees to buyers on cleared/available funds. Or maybe they prefer cash for nefarious reasons to fuel illegal activities and terrorism as everyone is at it, apparently :p :p

Perhaps sae etc is to cater for the non connected generation more akin to the CC / camc / wotever that they wish to entice away from the yoof who will be flooding those sites on their adventures in their motorhomes :p

Quote from their tariff page:
"Cash only please on arrival, we have no facilities for Credit/Debit cards."

Which probably means if you pay on arrival in person you need cash as they don't have a card reader. Or log on in reception and pay via paypal as free wifi is available. Or pay online before you arrive.

Or ring them up and ask what is possible?

Lots of ways to skin a cat, or just stay at home and don't bother?? :p :p

Thanks Guys for your replies, good reviews!, £20 deposit via paypal booked, readies in brown envelop

Do let us know what you think. When are you going and for how long??

The Bladon Chains cc / camc / wotever site tends to fill up for events at Blenheim, so this could be a viable alternative. That reminds me, must check availability in case we win tickets for a particular event :p :p Like wot we did last year :p :p
