digital tv using a status 315 ariel... it wont work

I recently tried to use my digital tv , it would not pick up any signal through the status 315 ariel, my tv normal channels worked fine but no digital signal at all, when i got home i tried it again and still no signal, even thou the channels were already stored from my home tv ariel were it works fine, do i need to do or buy anything extra, i prosume most are using dtv now and their must be a way round it .....any help please ladies and gents thanks
 
status ariels are known to have problems in weak signal areas,'you did re-tune your television' for the area you were in.and if you did you would have to re-tune when you got home.check on the digital website were good signal areas can be found
