As for LB.s comments about Chatsworth and his other continuing and disparaging comments, i wonder if you would like to meet up and discuss these constant jibes face to face and put and end to it or would you simply prefer to hide behind your keybvoard. I can pop along to virtually any location in the UK at very short notice.

OMG

yet another keyboard terrorist bandying threats around.
I'm sorry Spadders old bean but you need to get a life. You also need to read the rest of the posts. Unlike some I was jesting but you need to inwardly digest what others think of your childish rant and this one is yet another

Take a look at your original infantile post. Did you think the culprit was a member of this forum?
Maybe Damians reply was the most apt and it should have been left at that because you clearly have no sense of humour.
How old did you say you were? Jeeeezzzzz man, grow up and get a chuckle muscle transplant.

The C&CC actually has their own brass band and to rival this the CC ought to gather their best performers to create a wind ensemble to play the Trumpet Voluntary first thing in the morning.

Most unlike Spadders not to have trumped up and given us all the graphics as he knocked the $hit out of the Mablethorpe CL owner?

I'm now beginning to wonder if he's been pulling our chain

OH MY GOD !!!!!
Now we have not only a totally irrelevant posting about toilets in some far flung corner of the country, but now gauntlets (or maybe mittens) being thrown down in some ridiculous aggressive fashion.
For gods sake calm down , I hope you feel very relieved that the perpetrator of the unspeakable "Crime" was sent packing with his tail between his (or hers) legs and that it made your holiday just soooooooooo much better.

"Meeting Up requests on the Internet are as pointless as the original posting and show a VERY juvenile mentality.

Any more pathetic postings will be removed as will the originator of any more threats.

Quite simply,,because they have.
The topic has run its course, nothing of any value to add, and whatever is written wherever it is,is of no value to anything.

As in my last post, in red, stupid posts WILL be removed.
You have now seen that when something is said, it is said in ernest.
If you wish to post "toilet humour", please find a suitable forum on which to post it, this is NOT the one.

Hi Damian
Cutting the Cr@p I had hoped this thread could stay open until such time as Spadders told how he managed the situation.

Then why let it run for so long in the first place Damian?

Why let it run?
Well, because we actually DO try and let topics run along without interference as long as they remain good natured and do not start getting personal.
The topic was doing ok, not a mind blowing topic in the first place, and in hindsight probably should have been removed much earlier.
However, as we, the Mods, are quite frequently being accused of stifling topics or debate, as some would term it, we only step in when things go bad.
In this case, the OP seems to have taken offence at one particular poster, when in fact he could have chosen anyone, and issued childish taunts of "Meet up and sort it out"

Also, the topic has run its course, and it is ended, but the forum owners will not allow the writings of others in various toilets around the country to be published on what is a caravan forum, and actually serve no useful addition to the topic, as mostly they are crude to say the least.

So, without resorting to locking the topic, lets just let it die a death quietly.

Cleanliness and hygiene is an important matter and perhaps worthy of note when site is mistreated by uncaring users. I am frankly amazed at the number of comments this thread has generated.

However having read a few (and only a few) I am disappointed at the content which I can only describe as childish in general and in some cases I find the content offensive (though I recognise this is a very personal perspective).

When threads degenerate into this type of behaviour they do not produce any worthwhile information and in my view do not belong in the main topic, and should either close or move to the chitchat area.

Surely laughter is the best medicine.

Look what happened at Prime Minister's Question Time in the House of Commons on wednesday.
Better than the Punch and Judy shows I watched as a child.

Far worse than the light hearted banter on here

I'm sorry if I'm one of those who offended you Prof but as you must accept, not all are strait laced or take life so seriously. What would life be like without humour whether it be childish, gutter or downright filth. I must admit that I'm a prude when it comes to jokes relating to sex etc. on a public forum because that is crossing the boundary as is extreme bad language. That is what makes me cringe. I have to accept that we are all different so say nothing and leave it to the Mods.
Thankfully I haven't lost the gift of laughter and I hope to keep it until I take my last breath

p.s. I forgot. If my nic upsets you I'm also sorry for that.
