I'm pleased to be able to put on record what excellent service I've received from Mendip Caravans at Newport Gwent. I had the misfortune to find a cracked window after taking delivery of a secondhand caravan in 2006. Subsequent to my purchase the company was taken over by Discover Leisure plc. Despite the company changing hands the new owners honoured an agreement by the old company to replace the window free of charge.

One reads of so many grumbles and complaints about dealers that it is a pleasure to be able to report good service. - John

Glad your pleased with the service of Discover John. Unfortunately we have had a few problems with them. Our caravan was damaged and of course an insurance claim was put in. Discover and the insurance company wrangled over the job and it is taking for ever to sort it out. Hope fully now its looking like the job will go ahead. Just hope we have the caravan back before christmas . Want go away after christmas.

Can anyone advise whether Discover have taken over the entire mendip Caravan Group and sites, or only that in south Wales. Is it actually "discover" or Discovery ?

I can only praise the assistance I had from Discover Leisure (formerlly Harringtons) when I had a problem with my awning.

The name is Discover Leisure, not Discovery.

Yes Discover Lesiure have taken over all the Mendip Caravans centres, Evesham, Weston and Newport along with Cardiff Caravans and many other dealers.
