Do I need a leisure battery?

Just out of interest I wonder how the Continentals manage. Relatively few of their caravans have batteries at all.

Are movers, where used there, provided with a battery even if a dedicated battery, or do they have a battery free solution using their movers whilst still hooked up to an EHU?

They have electrical systems designed not to need a battery - as I suspect you well know.

No, I didn't know that there were different electrical systems. I thought they would all be the same. I never looked into it before.

They usually have a battery for the mover only although there are mover systems available which work off the EHU. I've seen them advertised, but I've never actually seen one in use which doesn't surprise me. It strikes me that would be a very sub-optimal solution.
