Do new caravans come with Al-Ko locks?

I ask myself what the thieves actually do with the caravans that they steal. The site where I keep my caravan is generally left unlocked and only a handful of caravans appear to have any form of theft deterrent, yet I've never heard of one being stolen. I asked a dealer about this and he said that as caravans over here are all registered, those that are stolen can effectively only be disposed of by breaking up for spares, and that's not particularly profitable. It's a bit different with cars because there's a market for them in some overseas places.

I have purchase a Swift Challenger Grande 640, I have asked the dealer I bought it from if it comes with an alko lock included and I simply can’t get a straight answer. If it doesn’t I would like to buy one so I am prepared. I would prefer it before I got my caravan so I could register and get spare keys.
What are people experiences?
There is no definitive correct answer, it will depend on the make and model of caravan, or what the deal the you made with your seller. You could avoid all the confusion and simple ask your dealer to supply the lock
