Do you dry your awning?

How many people dry their awning off (weather permitting) before they pack it away at the end of a break?

Helpful tip :

We bought a £1 shower scraper which, when the awning poles have been removed and the awning is hanging against the side of the van, we use to scrape off excess water.

Works a treat!!

Hi Lolly

Same as you with kitchen roll too. If it's a massive downpour whilst packing away and we can get the excess water off but it's still damp, I take it to work and put it in the drying room - big room which is heated for drying kit.

Wish we had somewhere to dry it, it tends to end up in the house!!

You are so lucky working in a fire station, I go all funny when I hear the fire engine on camp let alone when I see the firemen, there's just something about them!!
